How Dine Design uses AI

Version 1.1 · Published · Accountable owner: Diego Gomes Rosa

This is one of two working documents we publish in full and keep current; the other is How you leave, our exit charter. We keep both as clear, fair and readable as we can.

The plain statement

Dine Design is a one-principal agency that uses AI systems to do most of the production work, under my direction, and with my review and sign-off on everything you see. That is how one person runs your website, bookings, point of sale and customer channels to a standard that normally takes a team, at a flat fee. This page tells you exactly what that means for your business and your data.

What AI does for you here

AI systems draft and build under my instruction: your website pages and copy, menu setup in your till, configuration, your monthly update, content drafts for your social channels, and the routine checks that keep everything running. AI does the production; I do the judgement.

The human gate

Nothing client-visible ships without a human review. I personally review and approve every page, every menu, every report, every post and every message template before it reaches you or your customers. Every conversation you have with this agency is with me, not a bot, unless something is clearly labelled otherwise. I am the accountable name on all of it.

Your data, in plain terms

Your business data (your bookings, orders, customer details, sales figures and menus) lives in systems we run for you, in the UK/EU region, under a written data processing agreement. When AI tools process any of it, they do so only through paid commercial services whose terms commit that your data is never used to train public AI models. We never paste your data into free consumer AI tools.

The primary AI system we work with today is Anthropic’s Claude, used under commercial terms. We keep this page current whenever that changes, and a material change to these data boundaries reaches you as written notice, never a silent edit.

You own your customer and transaction data outright, and you get it back in a standard file within 30 days if you ever leave. The full terms are published in How you leave, our exit charter.

What we never do

  • We never write or post fake reviews, fake testimonials or fake engagement, anywhere, for anyone.
  • We never pass off AI-generated imagery as photographs of your premises, your products or your team without your written consent. Your photos are real, not invented.
  • Where an AI assistant talks to your customers (see below), it never invents prices, never makes up services or availability, and never tells a customer a booking or order is confirmed unless the system has actually placed it.
  • We never use your data to benefit another client, and never sell it.
  • We never claim a piece of work was hand-made when it was not. The honest version is better: AI-produced, human-reviewed, one accountable name.

When AI talks to your customers

Aria, the assistant that answers your customers’ questions on your own site, is part of the offer and live on real client sites today. She answers only from the information you approve (your hours, services and policies), is clearly identified as an assistant, hands anything she cannot answer to a human, and operates under the guardrails above.

You approve what she knows before she goes live, you can switch her off at any time, and she never invents a price, a service or an availability. Connecting her to your live booking system so she can speak to today’s availability is on the roadmap, with a date in writing when it is real, and there is no phone answering, on purpose.

The assistant on this site

You can already judge the standard we hold ourselves to: the assistant on this site is an AI, labelled as one. It answers from our published pages, it will not invent prices, and it keeps nothing of your conversation beyond the session. Its answers are for information; anything that matters gets confirmed in writing by a human.

Accountability

Using AI changes how the work gets made, not who is responsible for it. If anything we deliver is wrong, I fix it, and the standards in our agreement apply in full. Questions about any of this, any time, come straight to me; my direct contact details are on the about page.
